Foliosa is a design and fine garden maintenance company serving the San Francisco bay area. We bring a horticulturalist’s knowledge and a designer’s critical eye to every client and each project. We enjoy being able to create a design and to care for it, continuing to nurture and shape the garden as it matures.

Design
We create livable landscapes full of beauty meant to be enjoyed and shared. We draw inspiration from a variety of horticultural traditions and synthesize them into a uniquely California aesthetic while emphasizing ecological design. Our design expertise spans genres from classic flower gardens to contemporary foliage-driven concepts to minimalist statements, Design projects range in scope from single bed renovations to whole-property master plans.
Fine Gardening
The plants in your garden have different needs on different schedules. Keeping track of them all requires organization and follow-through. At Foliosa we have the knowledge and systems to ensure every plant in your garden thrives. Our monthly maintenance visits include irrigation maintenance, organic pest management, fruit and aesthetic tree pruning, fertilization schedules, weeding and more. Our maintenance operations are focused in the East Bay from Richmond to San Leandro.
